very cheesy story that has nearly ever anime trope you would expect and does almost nothing to compliment the GUNPLA concept.

Hit detection for most attacks and projectiles can look completely off since most of the attacks done by you and other units can hardly be made out on screen.

The two games feel so different that New Gundam Breaker is akin to bringing over Monster Hunter Dynamic Battle as the first Monster Hunter series to the west instead of the mainline games.
