Introduction
一組來自陽光普照，孕育新生代龐克音樂大溫床的加州，隨處可見把玩青春活力的暢快樂音，但是，從小除了在龐克樂的薰陶下，一如70-80年代的金屬/搖滾樂，更是填塞年少輕狂搞團玩樂的無優自在時期，Avenged Sevenfold就是受到Pantera、Megadeth、Metallica、Slayer、Iron Maiden等前輩的影響，追尋早期搖滾樂精神，注入更為飆悍的金屬力道！在搖滾樂演進多年的今天，雖然不斷隨著世代的喜好而有所改變，一段段往日金屬風光景象不在，是否讓血性硬派搖滾份子的你感到些許失落？看著一群追本朔源取掘搖滾源頭，混入變種搖滾音調，風光的成為爭相仿傲之熱潮，但是那些曾立足各時期的經典大團Led Zeppelin、Queen、Gun ’N’ Roses，永不隨著這些風潮過境後而消逝，Avenged Sevenfold的出現，可說是為金屬/搖滾年代再展其風華的耀眼新貴！由M. Shadows(主唱)、Zacky Vengeance (吉他手)、Synyster Gates (主奏吉他手)、The Reverend (鼓手)與Johnny Christ (貝斯手)五人還是高中生，於1999年組織起Avenged Sevenfold，他們將狂噪金屬之聲加入流暢龐克音階，不時出現長篇幅的樂曲彈奏，更是加強團員間技巧的再升級，不似時下年輕搖滾樂團，完全追求短暫、猛飆的快感，更為穩健的默契培養與彈奏深度，都是Avenged Sevenfold甚為注重的環節！2001年在獨立場推出首張專輯「Sounding The Seventh Trumpet」大受地下搖滾界的歡迎，2003年再次發行的「Waking The Fallen」，卻再也無法掩飾他們精采的超實力表現，順利入主華納音樂集團的懷抱，讓他們音樂事業跨出國際性的一大步！
